BUSINESS FOB FOUR DAY&. The heavy business transacted by the Telograph Office at "Wellington Central for i the four days preceding Christmas Eve was' made known yesterday. In the number of telegrams forwarded there was a decrease of about 3000, and the same applies to the telegrams received. In the number transmitted, i.e., messages from one provincial town to another, the quickest way to which is through the Wellington office, there was an increase of about 4600 over the l same period last year.
