CAMP NOTES
The following men, having passed the qualifying examination, and their promotion having heen approved by the Camp Commandant at Trenthani, have been granted temporary rank in the Expeditionary Force as under:— Headquarters Staff (Quartermaster's Stores)—Corpl. W. L. C. Bakewell, to he regimental Q.M. sergeant; Corpls. A. B. Carnachan, E. Mitchell, A. Miller, C. G. Hutfon, A. E. M'Ginn, A. Walker, Ptes. F. "S. Morriss, H. Nathan, D. S. M'Culloch, D. G. Whitinore, to be quartermaster-sergeants. The following promotions have been announced:— . New Zealand Medical Corps.—Staff Sergeant J. W. Burns, to be regimental Q.M. sergeant; Sergeants F. V. Blandford, E. AV. Tabor, A. J. Harper, to be staff sergeants, to hold rank of company sergeant-majors; Corpls. G. D. Fisher, W. M'Kellow, to be sergeants; Pies. L. N. Jaffray, T. Minshall, A. E. M. Jones, to be corporals. The following temporary appointment has been approved of by the Camp Commandant at Trentham: — , F Company, 21st.—Pte. G'. E. France, to ho corporal. The following officer has arrived' at Featherston camp and reported for duty:—Lieut. F. C. Tibbs, N.Z.D.C. The following returned n.c.o.'s have been appointed 2nd lieutenants on probation:—S.M. D. Deans, Sergt. J. Anderson, Sergt. -W. Austin. _ The following temporary appointment has heen approved hy the Cam]r Commandant at Featherston:—Pte. AV. J. Black, N.Z.D.C, to be lpncc-corporal.
