ADDITIONAL MILLION MEN
SANCTIONED BY PARLIAMENT. (Rec. December 21, 11.35 p.m.) 1 London, December 20. The House of Commons adopted the vote for an additional million men for the Army. Mr. J. I. Macpherson (Under-Secretary for War) explained that it was necessary owing to the inclusion of colonial forces in the regular army. The Houso of Lords passed tho Pension Bill.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
