TOO MANY RACE MEETINGS
FARMERS SUGGEST REDUCTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Ghristchurch, December 20. At a meeting of the Executive of the North Canterbury Farmers' Union tho following resolution was'carried: "That racing and trotting clubs be requested to reduce the number of race meetings in order that more men may bo avail-r able to increase the production of food and.clothing for those fighting."
