In the Magistrate's Court atMasterton on Friday, a charge against tho licensee of the Taueru Hotel of exposing liqhor for salo during prohibition hours, was dismissed. , Two Masterton residents named Collie and Fox were fined £1 each for being found on licensed premises during prohibited hours without lawful excuse.
The Wairarapa Hospital ;.nd Charitable Aid Board decided on Friday to purchase a motor-ambulance for the district. ;
'l'he Masterton Chamber of Commerce has approved a resolution from tho AVanganui Chamber, that the Government bo requested to take into consideration the early organisation of tho Dominion's producing power of primary products, to assure the maintenance of the country's exports in the face cf waning man-power. ■ The Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board has decided to take steps to disseminato to the public knowledge as to the best means of dealing with cancer.
