Crickjet—The senior eleven, won the championship and the cup, and it.'tow becomes the property of the school.. Swimming—W. M'Gill won the schoolboys' championship of Wellington, winning the four distances—lso, 100, 75, and 50 yards. Life-saving—The following* boys detained certificates for proficiency in lifesaving:—'VV. The Mount Cook Schools (Boys', Girls', and Infants'), "broke up" yesterday morning. Mr. W. E. Fullor and the members of the committco attended, and addressed tho children. Mr. Fuller congratulated the respective heads of the three schools upon ,tho cxcollent work done during twelve months. The boys wero especially praised for having wqn the sonior sohool championship at cricket last season, and all tho matches played so far this season. At the Girls' SchooV special presentations wore made by tho headmistress (Miss Piggford) to some of tho girls for improvement at tennis; to Miss Holm by the girls of the Sixth Standard; to Miss Stovons by tho girls, of the Fifth Standard; and to Miss Martin (pupil teacherl by members of the teaching staff. At tho Infant Sohool the little ones sang several choruses in excellent style, and also gave an exhibition of physical training.
