MAGISTRATE'S COURT
In the Magistrate's Court on Saturday, Wm. Cairns was fined 10s. for insobriety. Wm. Denis Quill was fined £10 for boarding the steamer Remnera contrary to the War Regulations when the vessel was due to sail for London. The default was fixed as one month's imprisonment. Daniel Kcane, alias Samuel Kane, charged with the theft of leggings and other articles from a person unknown, 1 was remanded till December 9. Wm. Mann was remanded till to-day on a' charge of failure to provide his wifo with adequate maintenance.
