VALUING THE CLJP; • -..'■ The Government wool valuers, who wont to Napier to value .3000 bales of wool stored on tlio .waterfront, completed their work on Friday. Questioned as to tho methods to be adopted, ono of the valuers stated that now that tlicir special .mission to Jfapier Lad been completed, they would divide up, so that representatives will lie stationed all over A T ew Zealand. These values will deal with the wool of tho district to' which 'they are allotted. They will fix the respective values of tho clips, the values beinj; submitted to the Government' for approval. The fanners, of. course, will have the right to appeal if' they disagree with the valuation made. Questioned in rcsp_ect to the usual wool sales, the Government valuer stated that those-'will not he held.. Instead, weekly' valuations of tlje -clirjs will be made. The buyers and brokers concerned in tho Hawke's .Bay dins.have just concluded a conference in Wellington, at which the Government was represented, sertted. . It is uiidcrctood that the valuers will commence operations in Wellington to-morrow. ■
