Fo all the places where ifc was formerly handled, and every place claims to have all requisite facilities; Inquiry and •inspection havo yet to be mado, however, as to whether this is the case at somo of tlio smaller ports. For the proper valuing of wool spacious and well-lighted stores are essential, and tlio Government has to ho satisfied that theso arc available at a.placo before it can bo made a point of delivery. Thoso already provisionally aercod upon are: Auckland; Gisboriie, Napier, Waitara, Wanganni, Wellington, Nelson, Chr'islchurcli, Timaru,' Oninarii, Port Chalmers, Bluff, and 'fokomaru Bay. Some of these may yet have to bo eliminated. Investigation is still hcill" mado regarding Picton, Patca, and one or tivo'i other smaller ports. •
