LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Company Teport having held their fortnightly sale at the Upper Hutt yards on Thursday, when they offered a good yarding of cattle before a large attendance of buyers. Competition ■was animated throughout, the whole entry changing hands at prices considerably in excess of vendors' reserves. They quote:— light-weight fat cows, £12 65., £12 15s. to £14 10s.; forward empty cows, £11 lis., £12 to £12 155.; cows' with calves, £10 55.,. £11 As., £12 17s: 6d. t0.£13 10s.;. empty store cows, £9 95., £10 65., £10 17s. to £11; empty heifers,, to £12; 'springing "heifers, - £8 16s. to £10 17s. 6d.; cowb in milk, to £9 155.; bulls. £7175, 6d„ £955. to £9155.; weaners. to £3 Is. • .'-.
