December 1,11.10 p.m.) London, December 1. Sir .Douglas Haig states that there is reciprocal artillery firing, the enemy's bombardment being particularly heavy between tho Sommo and the Aucre. Paris, December 1. Official: "South of tho Sommo there has been a vigorous reciprocal bombardment betweeu Chaulnea Wood and Berny. Near Massiges, in Champagne, our trench guns blew up the enemy's ammunition depot north of Fmir-de-Paris, in tho Argonno."
