BUTTER BOX FACTORY DESTROYED

By tho time too .'fire brigade axrived the factory wa's"° ablaze from 1 end ■ to end. A detached office, likewise the. boiler-house, were also, alight. The firo was not extinguished luitil .after iivo hours' work on the part of the., brigades. The building was .of such x stout construction that although, part of the roof fell in the .-'machinery remains on 'throb' floors. The machinery was.valued at £3000; and the building at £2000, and .until inspection ie possible the exact amount of damage is 1 not ascertainable, but- it must be heavy;. The'insurances are in the New - Zealand office, but the amount is n'of 1 known. The origin of the'fire'is-uii-known.
