GEAND OPERA SEASON. The Gonsalez Grand Opera Company will open its season next-week, and a big rush is anticipated when the box plans for tho first five nights and Saturday's matinee are opened at the Bristol at 9 o'clock to-day. Some of the most important works in the operatic repertoire will bo heard during the ensuing season. Tiio management announces that already success is assured to the venture, for the demand for seats has been exceptional. On Tuesday and Wednesday night Verdi's favourite work, "II Trovatore," will be presented,-with "La Traviata" on Thursday. On Friday next "Cavalleria Eusti-ca-na", and "I Pagliacci" will be produced, and "Xucia. di Lammermoor" on Saturday. "Cavalleria" and "Pagliacci" will be repeated at tho Saturday matinee. The principals will be assisted' by a pinked chorus of CO voices, with a fully augmented orchestra, both.of which are promised features for tho season. SifJlw Bettini Cappelli'is tho lyric tenor of the company, and he will figuro prominently in "11 TrovatoTe," the opening opera. Ho was an enormous success in his work in Australia, and it is said that ho rang so Bupcrbly that on tho final night he was literally showered with tributes of admiration. TTo received no fewer than 50 gifts. For tho second week is announced "La Bohcmo," "Tho Ballo in Ifaschera," "Faust," "Rigolotte," and "Traviata," tho plans for which will bo opened at the Bristol on Thursday next. In "Traviata" will mako first appearances Signorina Gonsalez and Signori Dagradi, Fillippini, Barontini, and Boigheri. Signor Lois will be tho new tenor in "Cavalleria." whilo Sijrnor Balboni, in "Pagliacci" will nnpear in his great creation of Canio, with Signoriua Visoni as Nedda.
