A FISHERMAN'S PATE. By Telegraph—Press Association. „ Nelson, November 29." A man named John Glen, a fisherman, formerly living at Hokoriki, on the West Coast, is believed to have been drowned in tho harbour last night. Ho was on a launch, attempting to moor it, bis mate being in a dinghy. Ho missed tho moorings, and when tho mate returned to tho launch no trace of Glen could be discovered. FATAL FALL DOWN A CHUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, November 29. An inquest was held to-day on tho body of a boy, Herman Arthur Gocrte, aged soven, who died last night as tho result of injuries received through falling down a chuto in tho children's playroom in a drapery establishment. A. verdict was returned that death was due to a fracture of tho skull.
