PREVENTION OF CRUELTY
_ The fortnightly meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was held last evening; Mr. P. Meadoweroft presiding. Inspector Henry reported that ho had succossfuly dealt with eleven cases of cruelty. ■ Subscription's for the fortnight ending November 28 were:—Mrs. A. E. Kernot, Messrs. G. B. Davy, G. M.
