No 1 effort is. being spared to make Friday and Saturday. December' 1 and . 2, days to be remembered...Strong.committees have heen set up, working in conjunction, with the lteturned . Soldisrs' Club officials, to control the various, schemes to appeal to the puiblic. The procession, which was arranged in connection with the Red Cross effort, was looked upon by- the thousands lining the route of march as a surprising and beautiful display; the authorities in charge of next Friday night's procession expect to have an even finer muster of exhibits and. novelties. Many novel items are.being arranged as attractions for the gala to bo held nt the Basin Reservo on Saturday, December' 2.. 'The returned soldiers are taking part in various displays and competitions and side-shows will be in full swing. Amongst the items are boxing competitions, dancing, sports, hat trimming, etc., blindfold squ'ad drill. Afternoon tea is to be provided on the ground. The price of admission has been fixed at Cd., children free.
