INTERMITTENT CANNONADING ON FRENCH FRONT (Aust.—N.Z. Cable Assn. and Eeuter.) London, Novembor 22. Sir Douglas Haig reports:—-"The enemy is using his artillery against the right of the new front south of the Ancre." (Rec. November 23, 8.15 p.m.) London, November 22. Sir Douglas Haig reports:—"After a heavy trench mortar bombardment, the enemy was raided on the front south-west of Cite Saint Elie. Part of the front line trench was obliterated. Our aeroplanes attacked railway stations and transports." HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner reports:— _ London, November 22, 11.15 p.m. A British official message states :—"Ho3tile artillery has been active in the Beaumont Hamel and Ypres areas. On the night of November 20 our aeroplanes attacked the enemy's railway stations, billets, and transports, with bombs and machine-gun fire.
