© The Wellington Harbour Board- met last ovoriing. Present: Messrs. C; E. Daniell (chairman). A- H. Hindmarsh, M.l'., R. A. Wright, M P., 11. L. Nathan, W. Cable, R. Fletcher, M.P., M. Cohen, H-. Jfi. Sinclair, A. M'Farlane, J. G. Cobbe, J. M'Ewan, and W. T. liildreth. _ The financial report showed a credit of £33,347 on the current account and of £2016 on imprest account. The sum of £00,000 was on deposit. Payments amounting to £22,848 were authorised The chairman reported that the Minister of Munitions-and Supplies had stated lie would be unable to avail himself of the board's offer of a rentfree site 011 the Waterloo Quay reclamation for storage purposes. The hoard had continued to provide storage for the Ministry of Munitions as far as possible, hut had not been able to' find all tlie space required. With reference to tlio proposed purchase of the Dominion wool clip by tlio Imperial Government, tho Minister of Agriculture and Commerce had been approached and requested to safeguard the interests of the board in respect of dues ami ciiarges. A promise that the interests' of tho board would bo protected had been securcd. . After dealing with some matters 111 committee the board rose.
