—: ♦ A RECENT LABOUR MANIFESTO ' OBJECTED TO. By Telegraph—Prees Association. Dunedin, November 20. At a meeting of thev executive committee of the Patriotic 'Association to-day_ it was resolved: "That this executive records its dissent in the view expressed by the Hon. J. T. Paul in the manifesto of the National Executive of tho New Zealand Labour Party, and entirely disassociates itself from liim-in his action." Mr. Paul, who was present, said he had never associated the Patriotic Association with tho manifesto, and there was therefore no Teason for them to disassociate themselves from him. He saw no reason to resign his membership.
