FAMOUS POLISH NOVELIST DEAD
Australian-Xcw Zealand Cable Association. London, November 19. 31. Henryk Sienkiewicz, tho Tolisli novelist, author of "Quo Vadis?" is dead. He died in Switzerland from heart failure. [M. Sienkiewicz was one of a number of Polish notables who a few days ago issued a manifesto repudiating the "sham independence" offered fo Poland by Germany and .'Austria, and urging the Poles not to fight against Russia.]
