SHOW
The patriotic Boso Show, under the auspices of the Wellington Rose and Carnation Club, to be held at the Town Hall ou November 22, promises to be a most succcssful one. His Excellency the Governor and tho Countess of Liverpool have consented to open the show, tho net proceeds of which are to be equally divided between the Mayor's Fund for Wounded Soldiers and the Zoo Ilosery Rose Purchasing Fund. Every effort is to be made to raise as large a sum as possible. Tho club will have the assistance of an enthusiastic Ladies' Committee, who will undertake the sale of cut flowers, which will be sold for tho benefit of tho funds, and for this purpose gifts of roses, etc., will bo thankfully received. Tho ladies will also provide patrons with afternoon' tea andrefreshments at a. nominal charge. ftecord entries are anticipated. A feature of the show will be the classes for suburban growers and. the decorated table competition. Tho whole of the exhibition blooms will bo sold at the close of the show, at 9 p.m.
