"No," said the Mayor, "but there has been some suggestion to call it Kitchener Park." . The matter might be brought up later, but I think there would be a good deal of opposition. Councillors: Yes. _ Councillor M. F. Luckie . said any change in the name would cause us to lose sight of tho history of tho ground. An old plan, made in 1842. showed the site to have been mapped bnl for a dock, with the sea-water!running up a. ohaunel which is now the middle of Cambridge and Kent Terraces.
