He took ill Tuesday last, and! died at 10 o'clock' on Wednesday night, after an' operation. The lato Mr. Little was a, fine singer, and belonged to St. Gerard's Choir. He was a member of the Commercial Travellers' _ Association, and well knoivn/in business circles. He leaves a widow and two sons and three daughters. ■ Mrs. A. 3. Schoch, of Boukott Chambers, Boulcott Street, has received word that her son, Sergt. AV. G. Schoch, .of the N.Z.F. Artillery, has been appointed a riding master at Sling Camp, Salisbury Plains. Sergt. Schoch left with the Fourteenth Beinforcements. MM. Mirovitch and Piastre, the gifted Russian musicians, who have completed a tour of New Zealand, left for Sydney by the Manuka last evening. They 'are to journey to Ceylon by tho Malwa'and from thence proceed on to Calcutta, where they arc to give a series of concerts. Then they will probably visit Rangoon and Singapore, and later will tour Java. They are to return to New Zealand again m June next.. - Tho. late. Gunner F. B. Spilsbury, who was reported killed in \ action on September 17, left AVellington as paymaster 6ergeant-major with the 6th Reinforcements, and was in Egypt for a considerable time. By the time the New Zealanders left for France he had succeeded in obtaining a transfer from the Pay Department: and was attached la the Howitzer Battery of the. Field Artillerv with the New Zealand Division, with "which he was serving at the time of his death. He was for some yean on the staff of the Commercial TJnioii Assurance Company in Wellington anc Gisbornc. and at the time of enlistment was in the omploy of Messrs. Murray, Roberts; and Co., Ltd., AVellington. m charge of their insurance department. The late Gunner Spilsbury was very ppnular. and was well known in goll and tennis circles, especiallv the latter, having been secretary of the Ncwtowr Lawn Tennis Club and on tho loca ■ association. ,
