RECRUITING
JANUARY AND FEBRUARY DRAFTS. Voluntary recruiting for the November and December drafts has closed, but men arc being accepted at the various recruiting offices for the 25th and 26th Reinforcoments, which will be mobilised in January and February respectively. Enlistments are subject to the chances of the ballot as far as Reservists of the First Division are concerned, since a Reservist who has volunteered for the 25th or 26th Reinforcements may still be drawn by ballot for an earlier draft. No recruits will be. accepted for Reinforcements later than the 26th, until after the 25th draft has entered camp. The following recruits have been attested in Group 5 (Wellington City and Suburbs) during the last few days, the majority of them for the 24th Reinforcements :—
