Tim Troy, Maurice Costello, and Joseph Scott were jointly charged to-day, with conspiring to defraud Frederick Crossley, veterinary surgeon, of Wellington, of tho sum of £52. The charge .was tho outcome of a game of poker in local hotel on race night. After portion of the evidence had been heard, She caso was adjourned to Wellington jji December 1. Accused aro well-known & sporting circles. ■
