CAMP NOTES
The following temporary appointments have been approved . by the Camp Commandant at Featherston: — 23rd N.Z.M.R. (to bo lance-cor-porals) :—Ptes. W. \Kirkland, H. C. Snell, D. D. Simpson, A. H. Hoskin, G. Walker. The cup presented by tho Camp Commandant at Peatherston for tho best kept huts has been awarded to B Company, 21st., for the week ending November 11, with A Company second. Sergt. S. Berryman, 26tli M.R., has been promoted 2nd lieutenant on probation. Tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trontliam:— A Company, 19th Reinforcements.— Lco.-Sergts. L. Campion, 0. Scott, Corpls. J. E.. Hunter, to be sergeants; Corpls. G. W.,"Warner, T. A. Dayley, to bo Ico.-sergeants; Lco.-C'orpl. B. N. L. Boler, to be Corporal; Ptes. G. A. T. Yardley, H. A. Devine, A. Ri Sutherland, J. W. M'Collongh, A. Craig, L. D. Bourke, E. Counihan, B. M'Kcnzie, to be lance-corporals. A Company, 22nd Reinforcements.-— Corpl. J. O'Brien, to bo Ice.-sergeant. B Company, 19th Reinforcements.— Sergt. W. H. M. Robinson, to bo quartermaster-sergoant.
