WAR LOAN CERTIFICATES
THE SALES TO DATE. Sales still continue satisfactory and are averaging over £17,000 per week. Wellington retains without difficulty the pride of place, Christchurch and Duuedin .running almost level for second, with Auckland considerably behind. Invercargjll, Napier and Wanganui come next in order. ■ The officers of the Head Office of the General Post Office have subscribed £1300 for purchase of war loan certificates. The public are fully appreciating the facilities offered in the direction of oustody by the Post Office of certificates, over £250,000 worth having already been deposited in the strong-room until they become due.
