During'the month 3247 bales of tow; . were dealt with, as compared with 3167 for the corresponding montli of last year, an increase of 80 hales. For the twelve months endedl October 31 the number of bales graded was 41,201, as compared with 28,218 for the previous twelve months, an increase ■ of 12.983 bales. During the month the number of bales of stripper slips graded was 528, as compared-with 546 for the .corresponding month of last year, a de-. crease of 18 bales. For tho twelve months ended October 31, tho number of bales graded was 6744, as compared with' 2761 for the previous twelve months, an increase of 3933 bales.
