:pOSSBLE,QtI!A.NGE OF POLICY. '"The Government has no more information, ahont the export of wool than that already published—that all New Zealand crossbred wool must go to Britain. It is regarded as possible, however, that this may he only.a temporary measure, and that something very much more drastio may he ordered concerning wool. In other words, it ia not impossible that wool may be requisitioned or dealt with in some such way. Any scheme' of this sort jvould, of course, present difficulties incomparably greater than that presented, in the meat purchase scheme. It was in view of possible change in policy that the Christchurch wool sale for thte week was postponed.
