* FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications eiro for high northwcßt to south-west winds. Unsettled, cloudy, and oolder weather is probable, with considerable rain generally and flooded Tivers in many parts; especially in districts with a westerly aspect. Barometer unsteady, but rise everywhoro soon.. The weathor has been very unsettled and wet generally, heavy rain falling about Cook Strait and in the West Coast districts. Northerly winds.
