Ino demand was fairly keen, and nearly the whole entry changed hands. We quote: .Medium, to heavy: draughts, on account oEz-Mr. R. D. Knight, from- £20 to £28; medium draughts, on account of Mr. F. L..Jaokson,/£l2 to £23; light horses, acconnt same vendor, £5 to £10 10s.; account of Mr. A. Bl Hansen,, of Hastings, a coneijrnment of light horses, from £6 10s. to £19,. 165.: on aocount of Ifinutangi Estate, . Shetland ponies, • from £7 10s. to £8; on behalf of other vendors we sold draughts •(useful sorts), from £22 to £31; light ■ liaoka and harness horses, from £8 to £15. A thoroughbred yearling nlly by King's Questr-Mahaxetunca, realised 15 guineas.
