RETURNING SOLDIERS

REMUERA AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Pre6« Association. Auokland, November 5. The Remuera, from London, via Panama, arrived at 10 o'clock last evening, with 21 returned soldiers on board. Major Turnbull, D.5.0., is in command, and the party includes eight officers, 10 n.c.o.'s, three men, and ten others who aro returning for commissions. The wounded men Benefitted greatly by the voyage, due to the fact that cool weather was experienced in the equatorial zone. Lieut. F. A. Rutherford, Royal Field Artillery, of Onewhero, recently awarded the military cross, and now on sick leave, was also a passenger.
