* PRESENTATION OP AWARDS. I Miss Kitty Doughty, of .Karaka Boy, who was awarded the silver medal for effecting the rescue of a woman off the wharf at the Bay, is to leave fellington to-day for England, where she is to take up nursing duties until tho end of tlio war. Before leaving Wellington, Miss Doughty will be presented, quietly, with tho silver medal and certificate recently awarded to her, .which arrived from Christchurch yesterday. .

The bronzo medal and certificate awarded to Mr. Charles Middleditcli has been received by Mr. Thos. Shields, and will bo presented at an entertainment to tako place in the Concert Chamber of tho Town Hall to-morrow evening.
