MOTORING FATALITY. SHEEP FARMER KILLED By Telegraph—Press Association. Wairoa, November 1.;. A motor-car accident occurred on tho AVaikaromoana Road yesterday afternoon, when two sheep farmers, Duncan Cameron and G. F. Oummings, wero capsized over a bank. They were brought to_ tho hospital last night. Cummings is moving about again, but Cameron died at 1.30 a.m. to-day. Deceased had been manager of tho Oliuka Station for the Gear Company for many years, and was very popular in the district. Ho leaves a widow and a. large family. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. Ghrlstchurch, November 1. Frederick Wyatt, aged 32, died in the Hospital this morning after being arrested for drunkenness. At the inquest a vordict of death from heart failure, caused by chronic alcoholism, was returned. SERIOUS ACCIDENT. An engine-driver named William Townley, in the employ of Messrs. Mace and. Nicholson,'contractors, met with a serious accident on Tuesday afternoon. Whilst engaged in making some repairs to the tho props which held it up became displaced by some means or other, and the weight of tho engine descending: on Townley crushed him badly, causing an injury to tho spine. Two doctors wore soon in attendance, and at once ordered the unfortunate man's removal to the Hospital, where ho now lies in a critical condition.
