After hearing evidence in suppoH of plaintiff's claim, His Honour granted tho application of defendant's counsel Jor a nonsuit, with costs according to scale.) witnesses' expenses', and disbursements. Mr. P. W. Jackson . appeared- for plaintiff, and Mr. H. F. O'Leary for defendant. CRIMINAL SESSIONS. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court will begin on Monday, November 6, before His Honour the Chief Justice, and the charges set down for hearing aro as follows:—Thomas Ridout, theft from the person, three charges; Maude Williams, bigamy; Edward Winter, indecent assault ; Joseph Boucher, shooting with intent to commit grievous bodily harm; Joseph Gover, theft from a vessel; George Crowther, John D'amtry Campbell Birch, Hector M'Lean, and Charles Hazeldine, disabling with intent to commit a. crime; Joseph Michael Kennedy, robbery; Joseph Mooney, tlieft; Donald Poison, indecent assault; Goorgo Browning, breaking, entering, theft (3 charges); William Murphy and John Ualton, robbery; Edward Foreman, indccent assault (re-trial from August); Edward Foreman, theft (l charge), and breaking, entering, and theft (3 charges); Thomas M'Namara, attempted indecent assault on a malo; Herbert Mackorsoy, theft from a dwelling ; Frederick George Smith,' theft from a dwelling; Frodcrick Edward "Upliam, forgery and uttering; Sydney Marlott, theft of moneys (rc-trial removed from Napier).
