I'atterley had the assistance of Homeric in the Inst four of a five-furlong gallop from tho old post, which took lmin. 6 l-ssec. Colonel Soult went a round in 2min. 5 2-ssec. Hyllus beat loyal Arch over six furlongs in lmin. 21sec. Arran covered four furlongs,, doing the last three in 38 2-ssec. El Gallo and To Papapa were together at tho ond of a mile, the last seven furlongs taking lmin. 35 3-ssec. i Alteration was better than Bockfield over seven furlongs, in lmin. 341-ssec. Bagdad beat two companions over five farlongs from tho new 1 post in lmin. 5 2-ssec. Bjorneborg covered six furlongs comfortably, in lmin. .26 2-sst«c. • Glenroy ran seven furlongs in lmin. 33sec. Bisogne beat Gold Lace over six fur--longs in lmin. 212-ssec. After breakfast General Joffre beat Idra in a six-furlong gallop in lmin. 21sec.' Kitty Bellairs covered four furlongs in .50 Usee. My Penury, who had the assistance of Pendoon ■ and Boyal Irish, at intervals, ran a mile and a quarter in 2min, 16seo—a good gallop. A lot of others also worked.
