Fiery Cross, accompanied by Slogan for the last six furlongs, galloped a mile and. a quarter in 2min. 13 3-ssec., and was doing best, at the finsh. Daytime went half a mile in 51sec. Rorke's Drift easily beat Ringforin over ten furlongs in 2min. 15seo. . Multiply beat Toki over nine furlongs on tho grass ill 2in in. 2 2-seec. Desert Gold galloped a good 1 mile in lmin. U 3-ssec.
Merry Roe, with Bleriot in the last part, went nine furlongs on the plough in lmin. 59 2-ssec. !
Ascajaphiis beat Sir Tarka over seven furlongs in lmin. 33 3-ssec. Mnllingar beat Marc Antony by two with Marco 80110 beaten off, over a mile and ft half, run in 2min. lOaec.—a good gallap by both horses. "Hymestia and Estland were well matched in a half-mile spin .on the straight. Egypt cleared' out from Beltane, Pourparler and Brilliant in a mile gallop, which took lmin. 43 3-sseo.
MeltchikolE ran six furlongs jn lmin, 17sec. ,
A number of horses, chiefly two-year-olds, worked down the straight, but it was impossible to time them.
