SOLICITOR IN THE DOCK
CHARGE CONCERNING TRUST FUNDS. Br Telejrraph—Praw Amociatio*. Christchurph, October 31. This afternoon,/at 'the S.M. Court, before Mr. Bishop, S.M., George Berry Ritchie, solicitor, of Christchurch, was brought up oil a charge of converting trust funds to his own use, viz., the suin of £338 16s. Bd., part of the trust created, under tlie will of Diedrich Ivi'Uße, who died in 1905. The cbiefuetectiv© stated there were other charges ponding, and it was expected that the deficiency would reach the sum of £3000.' Accused was remanded and admitted to bail, himself in £500 and two sureties of £250 cadi.
