RAILWAY, APPEAL BOARD
The hearing of'an appeal against dismissal from the Railway Department's service for alleged pilfering; of milk brought by Porter Herbert Chas. Gribblo was concluded by the North Island l Railway Appeal Board on Saturday morning. The defence was a total denial of the theft of milk on any date, particularly on the date complained of. Gribblo admitted pouring away some milk, which' he said was sour. Mr. \?.' R. Haseld'en, S.M., presided, ajid Mr. A. W. Hutehins represented the First Division and Mr. D. Dwyer the Second Division. Mr. J. MncDonald appeared for the Department,' aud Mr. M. J. "Mack for the appellant. After hearing leiigthy evidence' tbo board reserved its dteciskm.
