RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Suburbs Rifle Club will open their shooting season to-day at their range, Miramar, the ranges being 300, 500, and 600 yards. A teams' match will bo fired between the two DeputyPresidents. A cup presented by Mr. C. J. Morrison,- of Christehurch, will bo competed for in a straight-out shoot for the afternoon,-
The secretary of the Karori Riflo Club states that there will be no shoots ing on Polhill GiUly range this afternoon, as the range is under repair.
