Before the war broke out two sisters of a well-known family became engaged to 'two Napier boys (says an exchange). They wero about to be married when the happy events -had to be postponed owing to an unfortunate accident which happened to a brother of tho two sisters. Barely an hour Later tho other sister was informed by telegram that hor future husband had also been killed. Both boys had fallen in the same fight on the French front.
