NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of tho Wellington City Council: held on tho 19th day of October, 1916, the following resolution was passed:— Tho Wellington City Council hereby make 3 by Special Order the following By-law, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, .1908, "The PubLc Health Act* 1903," and their amendments,- and in exercise and pursuance of all other powers and authorities (if any) enabling it in that bohaJf. Tho Short Title of this By-law is "Tho Wellington Citv Bv-law (Flv Nuisance) No. 28, 1916." " ' Tli© object and purport of the .By-law are:— (1) To amend tho Wellington City Bylaw No. 1, 1908, by adding to Clause 251 thereof a' Clause requiring \ko occupier of ovory stable in tho City' daily to spray all manure on or about the premises with' an approved mixture to tho extent necessary to destroy all fly larvae. v (2) By adding after Clause 231 ..thereof, as amended, the following new clause, 251 A. 251 A. < That if-at any time fly larvae are found in, any manure' in tho City to such extent that jn tho ■ opinion of any' Inspector of Nuisances tho existonce of such .larvae causes danger tn tha pnblio health, the occupier of the premises on which such manure is situated shall ha guilty of an offenco against this By-law. And Notice is hereby further given that the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be' held on THURSDAY, tho 16th day o?
