The referendum campaign continues with tonso activity, and the publio interest is unprecedentedly keen. There are growing indications that one of tho outcomes will bo a drift towards tho formation of a National Party. SUPPORT FROM LABOUR. Melbourne, October 21. Mr. W. M, Hughes has received a telegram from the West Australian Labour Federation, promising to support the Federal Government's conscription proposal. • . ANTI-CONSCRIPTIONISTS. (Rec. October 22, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, October 22. A big anti-conscription procession in the streets, and a . demonstratxm on the Yarra.bank, met with a very mixed reception from tho crowds of spectators. The police had difficulty in checking several attempts to break up the meeting.
