ST. JAMES'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

ANNIVERSARY SERVICES'. The Sunday School anniversary sens vices were held last Sunday; the morning service being conducted by the Rev. W. Shirer, tho afternoon service by Mr. E, Hercus, M.A., and the evening service by the Rev. Knowles Smith. The services were largely attended, and the special service of praise rendered by tho Sunday School scholars, under Mr. Hamilton, was very much appreciated. The tea meeting and concert wore held on Thursday evening, and proved most enjoyable to the large gathering of scholars and friends. During the evening prizes were presented by the Rev. W. Shirer to successful candidates in the General Assembly examinations. Much credit is due to the superintendent, .Mr. Richmond,' to teachers, and to Mr. Hamilton, all of whom -worked very hard to ensure the sucoess of the services and meetings.
