SWIMMING
WORSEII BAY CLUB. Tho annual general meeting of the Worser Bay Swimming and Life-Saving Club was held this week, Mr. J. Brodie presiding. Tko eleotion of office-beir-ers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W.- H. D; Bell; president, Mr. J. Brodie; vice-presidents, Messrs. V. R. Meredith, F. Silver, AV. H. Green, C. J. Crawford, W. W. Rowntree, J. A.; Fuller, J. F. Atkinsj F. Townsend, J. P., Luke, J. Paul, and E. J. Collie; capiain, Mr. C. 1\ Bell; vice-captain, V. L. Allan; secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. T. Silver: management committee, Messrs. E. Fuller, O. Green,. L. M. Silver, W. Gerrie, F. Pyecroft, and J. W. Hall: auditors, Messrs. H. L. Mitchell and T. O. Fox; delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. C. T. Bell. Mr. Lynam announced that a trophy to bo called the F. de Rose Memorial Trophy, would bo presented to the club for annua] competition.
The Worser Bay School' was granted free use of the club shed on certain occasions fon teaching the children <ne art of swimming.
