There was a capital attendance at tie Sailors' Friend. Society last night, when •with music, story, and song, the time went all too quickly. Mr. Moore, mis-, eioner,. who presided, spoke feelingly of the Bplendid lielp. so willingly rendered by Wellington's residents to the. m6ii of'the sea. The performers were: Mrs. Whitham, Mrs. Forbes,. Mißses Page, Dodds, Baillie, Nicholas, Watkins, Dunn, and M'Leod, Messrs. Hoole, Whitehead (Port Napier), 'Kelly (lonic) and Leary (Pore Napier). The vote of thanks took the form of rousing cheers. ......
