COMING NORTH BY PALOONA. The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) received tho following telegram from Dunedin yesterday:— "Invalids ox Paloona:—Three men for Palmerston North, one for Danncvirke, one for Hawera, one for Hastings, ono for Apiti, two for Marten, and three men and two cot cases for Wellington." Thirty of tho meii who returned by the Paloona from Egypt, via Ausralia, yesterday, left for tho north by that vessel this afternoon.
