THE MILK PROBLEM
A CHALLENGE AND REPLY. Some days ago a country milk supplier, who wrote over tho . signature "One Who Milks for a Hobby," presented the farmers' _ side of the milk supply question. Incidentally he issued a challenge to tho secretary of tho Wellington Milk Vendors' Association, who he apparently suspected ' of knowing little of tho hardships and discomforts of dairy-farming in the winter months, to spend a week at his farm next June. The following reply, dated October 2, camo promptly to hand; — RE THE MILK PROBLEM. \ Sir, —I have the greatest pleasure iri ! accepting the invitation of "One Who Milks for a Hobby" to spend- a week with him in June next,and will be glad if you will supply me with his name and address, that 1 may make the • necessary arrangement for the visit.
