Willis, J. D. Howitt, ]?. J. O'Driscoll] i\ A. Mi3lane, A. H. vfnrd, A. Georeo and G. F. Gibbs. ' It was reported that trie Basin Reserve will not be wholly lit to play until Oc- . tobcr 21, so the openly of the season i will not tako place till that date. Practice wickets will be ready next Satnr- ■ day. In view of the postponement of the season's opening, the time for receiving ; entries by teams was extended till Tuesday next. Entries so far received are:—Senior: 1 North, University, East, Hutt, Boys' Institute, Trentham. Junior: Base Hecords, Hull, Wellington College, CUarist Old Boys, North, l'reathaiu. Third: Boys' Institute, Scots College, Wellington. College (2), Trentham. The following committees were elected:—Senior Championship: Messrs. Wilson, . Uidlane, and Ward. J umior and Third: Messrs. Howitt, O'Driscoll, and Willis.' Selection: Messrs. Brico, Midlane, and Crombie. Tho trustees in connection with tho ground are Messrs. Crombie and Wilson. It was decided that all applications for practice wickets and dressing rooms must b'e made by Friday of this week.
