. * ■ - Ou Saturday night tho Grand Opera House was packed for the. seventh' night of Professor Norwood's season, and there was pot a dull moment during the whole two and a half hours. Mr. Norwood's newest scene, "The German Retreat," was a great success, and met with great applause. Miss Winifred Norwopd again mystified everybody with her wort, and came in for her share of appreciation. This makes 31 performances Mr. Norwood has given in Wellington in the last four years, so he may fairly he said to have established his reputation as an entertainer. To-night the Norwoods will give an extra, • performance, the entire proceeds of which will be given .to; the Mayor's Christmas Gift Fund.for providing Christmas presents for our boys in the trenches, and a full .'house is expected in order to help forward the good work.
